This single payment covers all the weekly sessions in that calendar month (whether there are 3, 4, or 5 lessons that month!), plus all the resources and support.

Is there a long-term commitment? How do payments work?

Not at all! We start with a £25 trial session so you and your child can see if it’s a good fit, no pressure.

After that, it's just a simple monthly subscription via direct debit on the 1st of each month. You can cancel anytime if your circumstances change – just give me a little notice. Easy!

Do you only offer group tuition? What if my child is shy?

Yes, right now I focus exclusively on small group tuition because I genuinely find it’s the most effective and supportive way for students to learn GCSE Maths!

The groups are kept really small (max 6 students) so everyone gets personalised attention. It's a very friendly and encouraging environment, and even shy students often find they gain confidence learning alongside others. The £25 trial session is the perfect way to experience the supportive atmosphere first-hand.

How does the online tuition work? What tech do we need?

It’s super simple! We use Google Meet for the live sessions – I’ll email you the same secure link each week.

All your child needs is a computer or tablet with a working camera, sound, and a stable internet connection. Most devices have everything built-in already!

Question 5

What materials do you provide? Do we need to buy anything?

I provide absolutely everything! Each month, you'll receive a detailed digital workbook covering all the lessons for that month. This includes detailed revision notes, practice questions, and exam-style questions.

I strongly recommend printing this out before the session. You’ll also get a separate homework booklet with student-friendly answers included.

How structured are the lessons? Do you cover the whole curriculum?

Yes, absolutely. The lessons follow a carefully planned structure that ensures complete coverage of the entire GCSE Maths curriculum (suitable for Edexcel, AQA, and OCR).

We focus on building deep understanding topic-by-topic, combined with regular recall practice and exam technique, so there are no gaps in your child's knowledge come exam time.

Is there homework? How is progress tracked?

Yes, there’s an optional homework booklet provided each month with answers included – it's great for reinforcing what we cover.

I also provide brief feedback reports to parents after lessons, outlining what we covered and how your child engaged. Plus, you can always reach out via WhatsApp if you have quick questions between sessions!

What happens if my child misses a session?

No problem at all! Life happens. Every single session is recorded, and I share a link to the recording via Google Drive shortly afterwards.

This means your child can easily catch up on anything they missed whenever suits them. If you know in advance, sometimes we can arrange for them to hop into a different group that week, but the recording is always there as a backup.

Do I need to have my camera on?

Ideally, yes please! Having cameras on really helps me build rapport with the students and see if they're following along.

However, I totally understand some children can be anxious. If that's the case, they are welcome to start with the camera off until they feel more comfortable. My main priority is for them to feel relaxed and able to engage.
